I had been looking to make a career change for awhile. When I was younger, I used to work in a home for mentally and physically handicapped people. It was the best job I ever had. I loved the feeling I got when I helped someone and I could not have been more excited to to go work every day. I did not make much money so I had to switch to a factory job to help support my family. I hated it and dreaded getting up every day just to go to that job. I finally looked into getting my home health aide certification and I am glad I did. It took me no time to get it done and now I am making more money that I was at my union factory job. I am so glad to be back in the field of work that makes me happy. Something I really enjoy and will keep enjoying until my retirement days.
